Pro Bono Estate Planning: Everyone Deserves a Plan
Senior citizens often face an array of legal issues involving end-of-life decisions such as advance planning for medical care and the disposition of their estates. Unfortunately, they also often lack the financial resources to retain private counsel and must rely on the assistance of volunteer lawyers. In this free CLE, G. Andrew Nea, Jr., the founder of the successful Pro Bono Wills for Seniors program, will discuss basic substantive law in matters of estate planning, including simple wills, advanced medical directives, and powers of attorney as well as how to become engaged in this critical pro bono need.
