Volunteer Opportunity: Wills Clinics

downloadAttorney Volunteers Needed for Life Planning Documents Clinics

Since 2007, Andy Nea, pro bono partner at Williams Mullen, has been conducting clinics that provide low income senior citizens, veterans, at risk moms, recovering addicts and nursing home residents with a simple will, power of attorney and an advance medical directive.

Volunteers are needed to assist with these pro bono life planning document clinics.

  • All clients screened, scheduled and determined eligible for pro bono services by host.
  • All clients will have completed a questionnaire offering a simple will, power of attorney and advance medical directive.
  • No tax, estate or succession planning. No T&E experience needed.  Help always available.
  • All forms, equipment and materials furnished.
  • No follow up commitment.
  • Free malpractice coverage available through the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation.
  • Four lawyers needed for each session.
  • A volunteer’s obligation is limited to attendance at a four hour clinic.

Volunteers, please note: Clients will be scheduled with the expectation that you will be present.  If for any reason you cannot attend, you are responsible for finding a substitute.
