Virginia Law Foundation awards Second Grant for JusticeServer
The Virginia Law Foundation has awarded a second grant in amount of $90,000 to the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation for the expansion of JusticeServer throughout the Commonwealth. JusticeServer is an on-line solution which connects the supply of volunteer private attorneys to the critical unmet legal needs of those who cannot afford representation. www.justiceserver.org
With this generous grant, GRBF will continue to build on the successes of the Central Virginia pilot and develop a bridge for other legal aid service organizations throughout Virginia to place pro bono opportunities into JusticeServer.
The Greater Richmond Bar Foundation wishes to thank the Virginia Law Foundation Grant Committee and the VLF Board of Directors for investing in this opportunity to address the justice gap in our Commonwealth. In addition, GRBF wishes to acknowledge the incredible time and commitment of its Core Team partners in this effort: Capital One, Legal Aid Justice Center, and Central Virginia Legal Aid Society.
